Last year, the JCH Foundation was able to raise over $10,000 to help support our mission to educate about and raise awareness for mental health and suicide. Over the last year, we were able to:
- Offer a scholarship to a Fairview Football Player to attend his college of choice and continue his pursuit of the game he loves.
- Fund workshops for teachers and student to help educate them to the tell-tale signs of mental illness, including how to react to suspicions of suicidal behavior
- Donate to the Baldwin Wallace Football team in order help support John’s former football family
- Donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention through their Out of the Darkness walk, an organization with a goal to lower suicide by 25%
This year, we’re looking to beat that number, and have a number of ways of doing just that!
The Cornhole Tournament this year is a 32-team double elimination event! First come first serve to teams of 2, with a $10 cash buy in per person. Cost for one team will be $20. The prize this year is a basket of John Haney’s favorite things, including over $100 in gift cards and other items.
Back again will be baskets of generously donated auction items! This will include a massive Sony Soundbar, brand new 20′ mountain bike, 43’ Smart TV, and more.
This year we will have a freshly designed t-shirt for our patrons – $25 for one and 2 for $40. Accepting cash and card.
Tickets will be sold for $20 at the gate, accepting cash and credit! Kid’s under 12 enter free! Presale tickets will be available soon. Included in admission is a dinner generously provided by a whole host of donors, as well as countless other amenities. This year’s menu will include Chicken, Pizza, Salad, and lots, lots more.
